For journalists, documentarians, and media creators who tell the stories that matter. This award honors someone who amplifies our voices, challenges narratives, and ensures we are documented, not erased.
Baltimore-native Eryn Ainsley is a storyteller, photographer, and creative designer devoted to uplifting independent artists. Through her behind-the-scenes media work with the Tony Aye Artistry Foundation, she helped the team earn a Baltimore Crown nomination for Best Movement. Professionally known as EJ Zuri, her photography, design, and multimedia highlight the moments and triumphs of Baltimore’s creative community and beyond. She especially amplifies Black LGBTQ+ voices, ensuring these stories are seen, heard, and celebrated.
